This focused 90-minute clinic is designed to deepen your understanding of the Bikram series through careful attention to breathing and alignment.
We begin with the breath. In a heated room, breath control is everything. It regulates effort, stabilizes the nervous system, and supports the structural integrity of each posture. When breathing is steady and intentional, the body organizes itself more effectively and the mind remains clear.
From there, we slow down and refine the mechanics of the postures. Attention is placed on joint alignment, muscular engagement, and disciplined execution. The goal is not to move further, but to move more accurately. True progress comes from building strength and stability with precision.
We will explore:
Proper breathing technique and timing
How to create stability in the standing and balancing series
Working safely within your current range of motion
